Author: J.SUTARJO, MUHAMMAD YAHYA, NANAT FATAH NATSIR, ERNI HARYANTI
Abstract: This research aims to describe the thoughts of three epistemological revival figures, namely,Paul Feyerabend, Richard Tarnas, and Fritjof Capra's idea. This study includes biographies, background thoughts, ideas of thought of the three figures. The background to the emergence of thought ideasPaul Feyerabend, Richard Tarnas, and Fritjof Capra's big idea are dissatisfaction with the products of the philosophers of modern times, namely about the monopoly of the method of finding the truth, the products of the thinking of modern philosophers which are elevated with defects, and do not prioritize the idea of divinity above all else. Based on these problems so that the idea of thinking anything goes by Paul Feyerabend, the crisis of modern science by Richard Tarnas, and the big idea by Fritjof Capra. From the results of the discussion carried out, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1) The monopoly of the method in developing knowledge and science occurs because science is overly superior to other human knowledge. 2) Development of science accompanied by damage in human life because there is no balance in thinking. 3) Furthermore, the lack of awareness of ecology and lack of awareness to put God first of all.
