Abstract: Acute metritis is a post partum reproductive disorder that occurs due to the invasion of bacteria into the uterus and causes infection in a rapid time. Binahong leaf extract (Anredera cordifolia) and vitamin E can accelerate the healing process because their function as antiinflamatory and antibacterial. This study aims to determine the influence of Binahong leaf extract (Anredera cordifolia) and vitamin E to CD4 levels and T lymphocytes in the healing process of acute metritis. The animal models in this study were rats (Rattus novergicus) strain of wistar female with post partum condition which weighed 150-200 grams and aged 14 weeks, which were divided into 3 groups. Group 1 was negative control without administering any therapies. Group 2 was a positive control was given amoxicillin therapy. The treatment group was given binahong leaf extract therapy (Anredera cordifolia) and vitamin E. CD4 levels were measured using the Flowcytometry method and the number of T lymphocytes through hematological examination. The data were analyzed with ANOVA’s one way test and post hoc test use Least Significance Different (LSD) a < 5. The results of this study showed that Binahong leaf extract (Anredera cordifolia) and vitamin E can increase CD4 cell levels in acute metritis condition comparing with the administration of amoxicillin, which is 4,934%. The results were directly proportional to the number of lymphocytes that decrease 0,12% than control group.
