Awareness On E-Learning Among College Students

Abstract: E-learning programs integrate with blended learning and face to face methods of delivery. Evaluation will be conducted online usually. Nowadays students are more adapted to the environment of e-learning and also very interested towards e-learning. There will be many advantages in e-learning and of course disadvantages also. But students believe that the advantages of e-learning plays a vital role in the development of society. Self administered design was designed based on awareness. The aim of the study is to create awareness on e-learning among college students. The questionnaire was distributed through an online survey planet link the study population included( no. of college students ) belonging to 17 to 22 age groups. Participants were explained about the purpose of study in detail. The questions were carefully studied and the corresponding answers were marked by the participants.The data was collected and statistically analysed. According to the results obtained, 84 percentage of college students are aware of e-learning in school. 75% of the college students who took the survey said that their institution follows e-learning . 84% of the college students believe that e-learning plays a role in the development of our country. With this research on e-learning it can be concluded that most of the students are aware and fond of e-learning. The students whose institutions don't follow e-learning till now also became aware of it now and planning to implement it in their institutions. Though it has a few disadvantages, e-learning helps to develop the educational status of our country.
