Abstract:

Stress is a word which is mainly used in physics but nowadays it is related to our own life . Students feel stressed due to competition in academics worldwide. The aim of this study is to create awareness on stress management techniques among college students. The survey was administered to the participants through an online survey planet link. The sample size for study was100 college students. Students were aware of stress management techniques. 72.4 % of students agreed that eating bananas reduces lots of stress and 27.6 % agreed that bananas cannot reduce stress. Within the limitations of this study we may conclude that students are having good knowledge and awareness of stress management techniques. But still there is lacunae in learning about stress management techniques. Most of the students can manage stress but some students cannot manage the stress. Awareness camps, social media, workshops, seminars may be conducted to create awareness on stress management techniques .
