In the present study N4 -substituted 5-(1,2,4-triazole-1-ylmethyl)-1,2,4- triazole-3-thiones and S - derivatives were screened for antioxidant activity in vitro by DPPH method and acute toxicity in vivo by OECD. The tested compounds 2,5 showed average antioxidant activity. The 1,2,4-triazol-3-thiones and S-derivatives mostly belong to 3 and 4 classes of toxicity by OECD.
