The functional state of the body of older men experiencing regular recreational stress

Author: S.YU.ZAVALISHINA , V.YU.KARPOV, M.V.EREMIN, N.G.PRYANIKOVA, S.YU.TATAROVA
Abstract: The weakening of the functional capabilities of the older part of the population in Russia is largely due to a decrease in the general level of physical activity in its male part, largely due to a decrease in the functions of the respiratory and cardiovascular systems. To a large extent, this reduces their life expectancy and increases pathological burden. The use of the physical training program for elderly men developed by the authors has shown its high efficiency in terms of stimulating the functions of their respiratory and cardiovascular systems. As a result of regular trainings according to the methodology created by the authors with the use of simulators, it was possible to achieve in elderly men an increase in their physical performance as a result of an increase in the functional reserves of their entire body. The methodology created by the authors made it possible to significantly reduce the level of pathological burden, to achieve remission of existing chronic diseases and to increase overall physical activity in elderly men who have retired or continue to work in various industries
