Conventional teaching methodologies in Orthodontic curriculum involves didactic lectures and clinical training. The students find it difficult to comprehend clinical aspects of certain topics. Teaching through MILA technique involves short lectures for not more than twenty minutes coupled with activity based teaching methodologies. Through these methods students are actively engaged and are able to comprehend better. All the topics are taught through MILA and difficult topics are subdivided further to enable easy understanding. At the end of the session the students are assessed regarding their performance and involvement.
