The First Day of Life (HPK) is a period of 270 days in the womb plus 730 days after birth. The 1000 HPK period (HPK) is also called the golden period, during which the fetus to two-year-olds develops very quickly and does not occur in other age groups. This can be stimulated since the child is in the womb. However, the majority of pregnant women do not yet know about the 1000 HPK program, nor the stimulation of children in the womb. The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge of pregnant women about the 1000 HPK program by stimulating children in the womb. This type of research is a quantitative type of explanatory study. The study was conducted using a survey method with a cross-sectional approach. The study was conducted in the area of Puskesmas Mlati II Sleman in February-March 2017. The population in this study was pregnant women in Mlati II Health Center Sleman. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling, so the number of samples in this study were 80 pregnant women. This study uses a questionnaire as a means of collecting 1000 HPK knowledge data and stimulation of children in the womb, which was previously tested using Product Moment Person validity and reliability using Kuder Richardson 20. Data analysis used in this study is to use univariate analysis using frequency distribution. The knowledge of pregnant women about 1000 HPK in Puskesmas Mlati II Sleman, Yogyakarta is in a good category. The understanding of pregnant women about the first 1000 days of life includes understanding, specific intervention activities, sensitive intervention activities, and nutrition. The more aspects of knowledge that are known, the more positive attitudes toward an object will be. Suggestions for further research are needed to provide education related to 1000 HPK to increase the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women regarding 1000 HPK.
