Background: Oral health is fundamental to general health and well-being, significantly impacting quality of life. Oral health means more than health such as gums, oral soft tissue, chewing muscles, the palate, tongue, lips and salivary gland. A healthy mouth enables an individual to speak, eat, and socialise without experiencing activity disease, discomfort, or embarrassment. Many oral health problems are preventable and reversible at their early onset. To reduce the global burden of oral disorders, the world health organisation (WHO) recommends oral health promotion at the school level to develop knowledge, attitude, and behaviour related to oral health problems. Questionnaires were created and distributed to parents through an online survey planet. The survey was distributed among 100 college students and the data was collected and systematically analysed. According to this study it is mandatory for each individual to brush at night to prevent occurrence of dental caries. Most of the participants are aware of oral health.
