Scapula is a flat, triangular bone lying on the posterolateral aspect of the chest wall. The process of scapula includes the spinous process and its continuation, the acromion and the coracoid. The acromion along with the coronoid process and coracoacromial ligament forms the protective coracoacromial arch over the shoulder joint. The study was conducted to document the morphological and morphometrical analysis with special emphasis on its clinical and forensic applications of the scapula . This data will be useful in medico – legal, anthropological , and archeological studies. A total of 16 dry human dry scapula were obtained from the Department of Anatomy, Saveetha Dental College and Hospitals, Chennai. Using a vernier caliper the length, breadth, height and diameter of the coracoid process, acromion process were measured. All the observed data were analysed statistically and represented graphically. On the left side , the mean diameter of the acromion process is 3.414 ± 0.0269 and the mean diameter of the right side is 3.527 ± 0.0482. For the complete understanding of the clinical and forensic applications and knowledge of the anatomical parameters of acromion process
