Maxillary canines are the second most frequently impacted teeth after third molars and play a vital role in dental and facial appearance, arch development and functional occlusion. They are often difficult to manage, and the associated risks must be taken into consideration when defining a treatment plan. Canine autotransplantation can be considered in cases where traditional treatment options are prone to failure. The case reports a young male with an impacted canine treated using autotransplantation together with orthodontic alignment, solving the esthetic as well as the functional problems.
