The adductor tubercle (AT) is a bony prominence on the medial surface of the medial condyle and has recently been found to be an intraoperative landmark. It is located well away from the distal tibiofemoral joint and has the advantage of being less likely to be damaged in knee arthroplasty, which is associated with significant bone loss. The epiphyseal growth plate is made of several key aspects including cartilaginous, bony, and fibrous components, which act together to achieve longitudinal bone growth. The epiphyseal growth plate is a final target organ for longitudinal growth and results from the cellular process of chondrocyte proliferation and differentiation. The purpose of this research was to conduct an anatomic study with adductor tubercle, To analyse the epiphyseal growth line. In the present study a total of 40 dry human femur bones were evaluated. The results obtained were analysed, tabulated and represented graphically. The location of the Adductor tubercle from the apex of intercondylar notch in the right and left bone was 2.13±0.04 and 2.24±0.09 respectively. The location of the Adductor tubercle from the midpoint of intercondylar notch in the right and left femur was 2.82±0.05 and 2.94±0.07 respectively. And the location of the Adductor tubercle from the base of the intercondylar notch in the right and left bone was 3.37±0.09 and 3.19±0.03 respectively. The adductor tubercle from the base of the intercondylar notch was larger in the right femur when compared with the left femur.
