Harmful melanoma is one of the most hazardous types of cutaneous malignancies. Bright (UV) radiation exposure is an inclining factor for cutaneous melanoma, despite the fact that in different structures, for example, mucous and anorectal harmful melanomas, bright radiation doesn't assume a noteworthy job. This was a questionnaire-based observational cross-sectional type of study of 100 dental students from a private Dental College. A self-administered questionnaire was given to the students to collect data about management of malignant melanoma. In this study 100 dental students were given the questionnaire, the data was then analysed and the results were presented in a pie chart. Of the total 100 participants, 61.9% participants were male, and 38.1% participants were female . Most of the participants, almost 64.6% are aware of malignant melanoma . Malignant melanoma refers to skin cancer ,over 60% of the participants are familiar with this term while the remaining aren’t familiar with melanoma. The society should be made aware about the deleterious effects of malignant melanoma and its impact on human health.
