Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the maxillary antrum is an uncommon malignancy of the head and neck. There have also been case reports presenting on verrucous carcinoma of the maxillary antrum. A cross-sectional study was conducted among 150 dental students belonging to third year, final year and internship selected by simple random sampling. The questionnaire was a pre-fabricated , simple, close-ended.A consent was taken from the students for participating in the survey. Data was gathered using an online survey application. To evaluate the knowledge of dental students regarding carcinoma of maxillary antrum, the questionnaire consisted of 9 questions. From the responses obtained it was seen that 15.44% of interns knew that carcinoma of maxillary antrum is asymptomatic while only 12% of third years and 4.7% of final years had knowledge. Majority of the interns seem to have good knowledge that the cancer most commonly affects males. All the third years, 11.4% of final years and 25.5% of interns knew that the primary modality of treating the cancer is surgical excision. All the results were found to be statistically significant. It was found that interns had better knowledge on the management of carcinoma of maxillary antrum compared to third years and final years.
