Objective The study of the genetic characteristics of MR and RCA in AH among the Kazakh population. Material and methods Genotyping was performed using QuantStudio TM 12K Flex Real-Time PCR technology (Applied Biosystems) for 12 SNPbp 1 chromosomes and previously confirmed to be associated with MR or RCA.
Experimental Data were collected from 866 participants, of which 439 (50.7%) were men. In the group with myocardial remodeling there are 56 people, which is 6.4% of the total number of participants, in the group with carotid artery remodeling 357 people (41.2%), in the group with a combination of two remodeling (MR + RCA) 249 people (28, 8%) and in the control group 204 participants (23.6%).
Results and Discussion In all models of inheritance, the recessive A allele rs17016480 was associated with greater chances of MR. The minor allele A in rs923109 was associated with lower chances of MR in the heterozygous state in the codominant and overdominant inheritance models; and in the dominant model in the heterozygous and homozygous state. Associations of the A / C-A / A rs17016480 genotype with RCA were found in the dominant inheritance model with a threshold level of significance.
Conclusion Our search revealed some links between rs17016480, rs923109 and remodeling of target organs in hypertension. However, the rest of the studied polymorphisms did not find associations with the states of interest to us, although they were previously noticed in other publications.
