Abstract: Background: The oral cavity is a small part of the body. So it is often the cause of a person and especially children, still ignores the health problems of his teeth and mouth. This is caused by the lack of knowledge and awareness about dental and oral hygiene which further impacts on risk factors for the onset of dental and mouth disease. Purpose: To determine the relationship between the level of dental and oral health knowledge on dental anxiety in children aged 10-12 years at Muhammadiyah 16 Surabaya Elementary School. Method: In measuring a child's anxiety level, the measuring method used in this study is the Corah Dental Anxiety Scale (CDAS) method using a questionnaire. Results:. The results obtained are contraindicated with the hypothesis made, this is caused by several factors in the respondent. These factors are age, technical factors and psychological factors of respondents. Conclusion: Based on the results of research conducted found that there is no relationship between the level of dental and oral health knowledge of dental anxiety in children aged 10-12 years at Muhammadiyah 16 Surabaya Elementary School.
