Bio-psychology Concept of Illness through Premature Ejaculation Mechanism

Abstract: Objective: Understanding the bio-psychology concept of illness is very important. Many approaches were done in this field. This study will use a premature ejaculation mechanism to explain the bio-psycho concept of illness. Method: This study was done by the reanalyze data from the research 2012. The design of that study is double-blind pretest-posttest control. There is 26 subject, divided into two groups each 13 subjects. One group gives 20 mg/day fluoxetine for 30 days and the other placebo as a control. Pre and post trials examinations for anxiety level, serotonin level, interferon-gamma level, and improvement of premature ejaculation. Result: The result of this study found there is a decrease in anxiety score, increased level of serotonin, and decreased level of interferon-gamma. Conclusions: There is a relationship biology - psychology process through interferon-gamma in premature ejaculation mechanism.
