Papillary Endothelial Hyperplasia in Breast Lesions

Author: DR.REGINA BLOSSOM, DR.BHEEMA RAO, DR.K.REKHA
Abstract: A non-malignant lesion of cutaneous and subcutaneous tissue known as Papillary Endothelial Hyperplasia (PEH) is of rare occurrence. It is still more uncommon in the breast tissue. Often it is wrongly diagnosed as angiosarcoma. The differentiating features are papillary endothelial hyperplasia existing in an organized thrombus and absence of signi?cant cell atypia (1). Three cases of PEH are discussed in patients treated by radiation therapy for breast carcinoma.
Keyword: Breast Lesions, Papillary Endothelial Hyperplasia (PEH), Masson’s Pseudo-angiosarcoma.
