The aim of this study was to assess the frequency of bone grafting in anterior maxilla during implant placement. Data collection was done in a private institution by reviewing around 86000 patient records and analysed between June 2019 to March 2020. A total of 110 patients who had undergone implant therapy in anterior maxilla were recruited. The data regarding bone graft placement was collected from the patient’s records and then imported into SPSS software for statistical analysis. Descriptive and inferential statistics were done. Among the study population, 66.67% males and 33.33% females had implant placement along with bone graft. Implant placement along with bone graft was done among 3(12.5%) patients belonging to the age group of 17-20 years , 7(29.2%) patients among 20-30 years, 6(25.0%) patients among 30-40 years, 5(20.8%) patients among 40-50 years, 1 (4.2%) patient among 50-60 years and 2 (8.3%) patients among 70-80 years. The correlation between gender and implant placement and age groups and implant placement was found to be statistically not significant. This study showed that the implant placement in the anterior maxilla with bone grafting was more frequently seen among males (66.67%) and between the age group of 20-30 years (29.2%).
