Thin films (PVC/PMMA) polymer composites doping rhodamine 110 dye with different concentrations prepared by direct casting method at room temperature. Effective of Rh110 dye doped on optical properties of thin films prepared were studied. by recording the absorption and reflection spectroscopy within the wavelengths (400-800) nm by using the UV-vis Spectrophotometer. Optical parameters such as (Absorption coefficient, index of refraction, coefficient of extinction, real and imaginary dielectric constant and optical conductivity) were calculated as a function of photon energy. The results showed that the doping of Rh110 dye increased the absorbance values, the absorption coefficient, extinction coefficient, the imaginary dielectric constant and the optical conductivity, but decreased in each (energy gap values, reflectivity values, index of refraction effect and real dielectric constant). The optical energy vacuum values for direct transfers were (1.71-1.9) eV, because of the effect of adding dye (Rh110) on polymers.
