This study aims to know the effect of Hydatid cyst disease on some biochemical parameters in human clinically. Two groups were included: The first group consisted of 60 patients with Hydatid cysts, and the second was 30 healthy subjects who were the control group. The selected biochemical parameters were measured for healthy and infected people during the period July 2019 to February 2020 in Najaf government Hospitals. Significant differences were found between patients and control groups for the enzymes (Aspartate Transaminase AST, Alanine Transaminase ALT, Alkaline Phosphatase ALP) and total bilirubin (T.S.B.) and glucose, as their concentrations were higher than the control group and their concentrations were respectively (36.44±14.12, 35.67 ± 17.56, 116.10 ± 45.00) IU / L and the total bilirubin and glucose concentration, respectively (1.51 ± 0.96, 131.97±39.47) mg / dL. The study showed that there is a negative correlation between age and basal phosphatase, that is, as the age progresses, the concentration of basal phosphatase decreases, while there is a positive correlation between the biochemical parameters (ALT, AST and ALP) among themselves, and with the total bilirubin.
