Synthesis of Complexes for Co (II), Ni (II) , Cu (II) and Zn (II) with New ligand Schiff base derivative from cefotaxime and barbiton has been characterized and prepared through Atomic Absorption-Spectrophotometer (AAS), electronic and infrared spectra , molar conductivity measurements in addition to magnetic moment measurements . It is obvious to see the ligands act as a neutral bidentate and ligands forming chalets with 1:1 (metal: ligand), octahedral construction is proposed for (Ni, Cu and Zn) metal complexes and tetrahedral for Co based on to the analytical result and then studying the biological activity.
