The process of sorption of Zn (II) and Cr (III) ions into PPE-1 anion exchange resin and PPE-1-P polyampholyte
containing amine and phosphite group preservatives, obtained on the basis of local raw materials, was studied
in artificial solutions under static conditions. Factors that influence the sorption process, namely time
dependence, temperature effect, concentration dependence, were studied. The process of sorption of metal
ions into ion exchangers was studied in the Pseudo-First-Order and Pseudo-Second-Order kinetic models, and
it was determined by studying the absorption kinetics that the sorption process was the Pseudo-Second-Order
Kinetic Model. The Langmuir and Freundlich constants of the isotherm of absorption of Zn (II) and Cr (III) ions
into anion exchange resin and polyampholyte at different temperatures were calculated. Based on the results
of the study, the thermodynamic parameters of the sorption process, the isothermal-isobaric potentials, the
changes in the values of free energy (?G), enthalpy (??) and entropy (?S) were found by calculating.
