| Abstract:
|
Venous malformations - congenital vascular malformations as a result of impaired development of the venous system during ontogenesis. To achieve the optimal treatment outcome for venous malformation, it is necessary to integrate surgical and non-surgical treatment options within the framework of a multidisciplinary approach. Currently available treatment methods are associated with an increased risk of complications. However, the implementation of timely intervention, even if aggressive, despite the existing certain risks, while eliminating the lesion, leads to a positive result. Accordingly, the search for the best drugs and development of methods for their use in endovascular treatment remains a very topical issue.
