This article is devoted to the study of dynamics of structural-geometric parameters and functional state of the left ventricle in patients with chronic heart failure preserved and intermediate) ejection fraction on the background of therapy of heart failure and metabolic syndrome. Depending on the presence of MS components, 156 patients with CNS are divided into 3 groups: Group I (n=56), patients without MS; Group II (n=50), patients with different combination of dyslipidemia with abdominal obesity, arterial hypertension and hypertriglyceridemia; Group III (n=50), patients with different combination of metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes mellitus. On the basis of the conducted echocardiographic study it was found that the treatment of patients with CNS and MS for 3 months with the addition of Atorvastatin to standard therapy, and in the presence of SD2 and metformin gives a good antiremodeling effect, normalizing cardiovascular relations, the desired result to improve the echgeometric parameters of the heart and restore the functional state of the myocardium.
