Organization of medical care for patients with eye injuries

Author: ZEBINISO NIYAZOVA, SURAT GULYAMOV, UMIDA GANIEVA, LYUBOV KHEGAY , AYUBHON KAYUMOV
Abstract: We conducted an analysis of the organization of first aid for patients with ophthalmic injuries. Our data indicated that when the injuries of the organ of vision occur, due to obvious clinical symptoms such as pain, redness, lacrimation, hematomas, impaired vision, etc., the majority of patients seek first aid during the first hours after the injury. Most often these are patients with industrial injuries and children. Late approach of patients in most cases is explained by the remoteness of medical institutions with well- skilled qualified personnel to provide first aid for eye injuries.
Keyword: ophthalmic traumatism, organization of medical care, decrease in visual acuity, wounds.
