Abstract:

At present, with the introduction of new, more advanced dialysis technologies and methods of drug correction, which led to a significant increase in the life expectancy of patients receiving replacement therapy by chronic hemodialysis, the question of the mental and psychological state of these patients becomes more and more relevant. The aim of the study was to determine the severity and structure of affective disorders in patients with chronic renal failure who are being treated with hemodialysis. There is a significant frequency of comorbid mental disorders of the borderline level in patients with chronic renal failure receiving replacement therapy with dialysis methods, mainly of the anxiety and depressive spectrum.
