The most important goal of working with a patient with suspected lung cancer is the timely diagnosis and accurate diagnosis in the early stages, allowing the treatment of the disease to be started as early as possible. The article presents the results of a comprehensive examination of 85 patients with lung tumor. As a result, it was revealed that in the diagnosis of the initial manifestation and the assessment of the spread of lung cancer, the basic methods are CT and fibrobronchoscopy, which should be more actively used in patients at risk and with clinical manifestations of pulmonary diseases. It was also revealed that negative CT results are found in the diagnosis of superficial forms of growth of endobronchial lung cancer, however, they indicate a limited process within the mucosal submucosal layer of the bronchus.
