Glycosylated hemoglobin (HBA1c), when measured in the body, gives the most accurate and advanced readings of blood glucose levels in the human body. As the levels of iron in most of the human beings are being dependant on the RBCs the correlation between these two came into the mind simultaneously. Iron deficiency anemia and diabetes mellitus (DM) are one of the leading comorbid conditions in India. Any correlation between these two would be grateful to the society in proper and precise treatment of both the diseases.
