In this study we studied cardiovascular disease in correlation with CRP levels for which undetectable CRP values were found in the stable angina as well as control group accounting for 64% and 76% each. In unstable angina group elevated CRP values were seen on admission and after 48 hours of admission (max.40%) patients had values 0.6 mg/dL on admission). Mean CRP values are significantly higher in AMI group (1.70 and 6.19) as compared to unstable angina group (1.24 and 2.90), both on admission and after 48 hours. In AMI group 24% patients had value 1.2mg/dl and o.6 mg/dl each on admission and after 48 hours max. (32%) patients had value 9.6 mg/dl. The mean CRP values in patients who developed complications was higher than that in patients who had no complications in AMI group.
