In this study the comparison between functional outcomes of intra-articular calcaneal fractures, treated with operative management by open reduction and internal fixation with plating and conservative management with cast application. This main objective of the study is to determine the functional outcomes of intra-articular calcaneum fractures treated with cast using conservative procedure. Assessment of the functional outcomes of intraarticular calcaneum fractures handled with open reduction and internal closure with plating. To equate the functional effects of these two procedures. The study sought to establish the advantages and drawbacks of the diagnosis of intra-articular calcaneal fractures in surgical and non-surgical displaced, the surgical being clear reduction and the internal fixation with plating and assume that such a review should aim to address questions related to the care of such fractures.
