Trend of transsexualism problem and its implications towards muslim community in Malaysia

Abstract: Recently, the transsexualism problem in Malaysia is rampant. This becomes worries as transsexualism practice causes many negative effects. Even the transsexualism practice itself violates normal human life. Besides that, most of them who involve in this transsexualism problem is from among teenagers who are supposed to become future country leaders. However, the question is how the transsexualism problem began and how is its trend in Malaysia until statistics of transsexual practicers number published by Pink Triangle Foundation in the year 2013 was 30,000 individuals in Malaysia. Moreover, does the transsexualism problem in Malaysia bring implications, especially towards the Muslim community in Malaysia? Therefore, to answer these inquiries, this paperwork possesses two main objectives. First, to explain the trend of transsexualism problems in human civilization, including Malaysia. Second, to explain the implications of transsexualism problems towards the Muslim community in Malaysia. To achieve these two objectives, then documentation method was performed. Documentation study was done to obtain data related to the trend of transsexualism problems in Malaysia and its implication towards the Muslim community in Malaysia. Data collected were analyzed through content analysis. The findings of this study indicated that the trend of transsexualism ill has happened since the early age of the world until today. This ill also brings negative impacts towards the Muslim community in Malaysia and defies the position of Federal Religion, which is Islam.
