Itchy leaf [Laportea decumana (Roxb.) Wedd] potential as hypolipidemic. Phytochemical screening results showed that tender leaves contain alkaloids, steroids, terpenoids, and glycosides. This study aimed to characterize compounds that play an active role in lowering cholesterol levels, cholesterol testing using a high-fat diet. The results showed that ethanol extract, ethyl acetate, and n-hexane able to lower cholesterol levels, aided by steroid compound triterpenoids. Where the difference decreased levels of ethanol extract of 24, 14% ethyl acetate extract 29.13%, and n-hexane extract 20.40% at a dose of 50mg/kg WM LDL levels. It is important to conclude that ethyl acetate anticholesterol activity with a dose of 50mg/kg bodyweight.
