Success of Nanotherapy in the Treatment of Cancer - An Overview

Abstract: Despite all the work that is going on this year, cancer remains one of the most frightening diseases in the world. Over the years and in all age groups the incidence of new cancer cases is rising exponentially. While there are currently many drugs available on the market, the issue lies with the chemotherapeutics 'selective action. They're not just boasting. Not only can they destroy the cancer cells, they kill the body's normal cells and, as a result, a wide variety of adverse effects. Recent focus has therefore been on developing a controlled delivery of drugs to tumor cells, and nanotherapy is one of the best choices. This article discusses how nanoparticles boost the drug delivery mechanism and the impact and effectiveness of anticancer drugs in different cancers.
