Pneumonia Detection using Chest X-Ray

Abstract: One of the common infection found in the world is Pneumonia. Lungs are the area where the infection spreads which is either viral infection or bacterial infection. Diagnosing of the infection involves chest X-ray. This is used by physicians to diagnose or monitor the disease. The diagnosing of the disease can be difficult as it is subjective for many reasons. Therefore computer systems are required to diagnose this disease with higher accuracy and help doctors. In the paper two convolution neural network (CNN) models .i.e. vgg16 and Inception which are well known have been used for the same. Transfer learning and ensembling have been used to increase accuracy for prediction of pneumonia. In this way combined strengths of both models have been used to achieve better and higher accuracy
