Synthesis and Characterization of some heterocyclic derivatives from 2-amino thiazol and study of biological activity of prepared derivatives

Author: ZAINAB BDAIWI
Abstract: This study involves preparation of some new heterocyclic compounds, are oxazine and thiazine derivatives by several steps ,the first step is formation of azo compound by reaction between 2-amino thiazol and 5-chloro salicyladehyde.the second step is formation of chalcons derivatives via reaction between azo compound and (acetophenone,4-hydroxy acetophenone and 4-amino acetophenone) as intermediate compounds ,the third step is formation of 1,3 oxazine, 1,3 thiazine by reaction of chalcons with urea and thiourea , The prepared compounds have been characterization by melting points and some physical properties with the FTIR,H1NMR ,C13NMR spectra. All prepared compounds are examined their antimicrobial activities against two types bacteria: Gram negative (Escherichia coli) and Gram positive (Stapylococcus aureus), result showed good inhibition effect against of some bacteria.
Keyword: Azo, Chalcons 1,3 thiazine , 1,3 oxazine , thiazol.
