The aim of this study was to evaluate the antibacterial activity of lectin-like bacteriocin of Pseudomonas putida
strains isolated from soil. 28 Sampleswerecollected from different area of Iraq soils for 3 months in 2019.The
isolates get reached 188, but only 13 samples of Pseudomonas putida were identified after isolation and diagnosis of
bacterial species in different diagnosis methods. One isolate of P. putida was selected for the study of antimicrobial
activity against different species of pathogenic bacteria, which measured by standard well diffusion assay
(WDA)that gave a high inhibition zone against different species, that purified by using a simple purification method,
followed by measurement of protein concentration at 595 nm while recorded the perfect absorbance at 280nm
then used to measurement the antibacterial activity that gave different inhibition zone against the different types of
pathogenic bacteria after purification, which may be find the application in human medicine treatment from
infection with these species of pathogenic bacteria.
