There has been considerable interest in the development of novel heterocyclic Hydrazone derivatives of pyrimidine ring with diversified pharmacological activities like antitumour, antimicrobial, antibacterial, Anti HIV, antioxidant, antitubercular and anti-inflammatory activities. Therefore many researchers have synthesized such compounds as target structures and evaluated their biological activities. In continuation of work based upon the observations, an attempt has been made for the development of new chemical compound containing hydrazone derivatives of pyrimidine that may possess various biological activities. The Pharmacological screening of synthesized compounds was carried out for anticonvulsant and antimicrobial activity. The synthesized compounds were characterized by UV, IR and NMR spectroscopy.
