In present scenario, threat from infectious diseases are increasing day by day. Microorganisms are getting resistance toward the existing antibiotics. Therefore, it is highly essential for the scientific community to come forward and strengthens the literature for novel tools for the inhibition of infections agents such as bacteria. The aim of this study is to synthesize ZnO nanoparticles and to evaluate their antibacterial effect. ZnO were prepared from aloe leaf extract and characterized using spectroscopic tools. It has been seen that synthesized NPs were effective to inhibit the growth of bacteria in the range of 30 to 45 µg/ml. Therefore ZnO NPs could be utilized in near future to formulate novel formulation to inhibit the growth bacteria or in the treatment of bacterial infectious diseases. Further such formulation may solve the drug resistance associated issues in medical field.
