“Diagnostic Tool for Protein Dependent Disorders through Novel Analytical Approaches”

Author: ASTHA PATEL, MAHIN PATEL, NILESH PATEL, DHAVALKUMAR PATEL, CHETAN BORKHATARIA
Abstract: Peptides and Protein have been found to possess an inherent propensity to convert from their native functional states into intractable amyloid aggregates. This phenomenon is associated with a range of most common human disorder, like Alzheimer and Parkinson diseases, type II diabetes and a number of systemic amyloidosis. Different analytical technology like mass spectroscopy, Microfluidic electrophoretic, Fluorescence Polarization are use through protein structure, conformational changes, protein aggregation, protein disorder. Some novel analytical technology like UPLC-MS/MS, SDS-PAGE with LC MS-MS, LAESI, Nano Spray MS/MS, Fluorescence polarisation etc. can be used to analyse protein structure for simple diagnosis of protein dependent disorder.
Keyword: Protein, amyloid aggregates, analytical technology, protein dependent disorder
