Abstract: The article establishes that the physical training of unarmed fighters is usually limited to generally accepted methods of developing strength, endurance and speed. The conducted studies have shown that the development of coordination abilities among the fighters of hand-to-hand combat is a complex process. Training of fighters in new diverse movements should be carried out with a gradual increase in their coordination complexity. It is established that mastering new movements, athletes not only replenish their motor experience, but also develop the ability to form new forms of motor coordination. This approach to the development of coordination abilities in unarmed fighters was taken as the basis for the development of a pedagogical technology for the development of coordination abilities, consisting of three stages. The methods and methodical techniques for developing the coordination abilities of the fighters were also considered. We have identified the regulatory phases of training targeted combat melee fighters. The performance of actions during fights based on coordination abilities is considered, where it can be seen that the coordination of learned movements represents the coordination of movements of the fighters.
