Epidemiologic Evaluation of Hemodialysis Patients Referred to Dialysis Ward of YasujShahidBeheshti Hospital in 2018

Abstract:
|
Background:Hemodialysis is considered as a successful treatment for ESRD patients. On the other hand,
further improvement of these patients is emphasized on optimizing dialysis quality, controlling blood pressure,
treating anemia and keeping various parameters in normal range. Dialysis use includes: Kidney failure, uremic
encephalopathy, inflammation of the serous membranes, sensory-motor neuropathy induced by high urea
neuropathy, excessive and irreversible fluid accumulation in the body, increased blood potassium and
metabolic acidosis and drug poisoning. Be (3). Causes of ESRD include hypertension and chronic glomerular
disease.
Method: In this study, 56 hemodialysis patients were evaluated by filling out pre-designed questionnaires and
were interviewed using SPSS software
Finding: Out of 56 chronic dialysis patients, 60.7% were male and 39.3% were female in ShahidBeheshti
Hospital, Yasuj. . 29 patients 51.8% due to hypertension, 12 patients 21.4% due to diabetes, 5 patients 8.9%
due to obstruction 4 patients 7.1% due to stone, 3 patients 5.4% due to polycystic and hereditary kidney, 2
patients 3.6% due to glomerulonephritis and 2 patients 3.6% due to reflux and one patient 1.7% due to
unknown ESRD and finally They have been hemodialysis
