Abstract:

Thiobarbituric acid and 1,3-cyclohexanedion have been condensed with aromatic aldehyde. The resultant
compounds have been polymerized with ethylene glycol and hydroquinone to give Hyperbranched polyester
polymers. The optical properties of the prepared polymers have been examined”. The transmittance, absorption
coefficient, as optical properties had been measured. The transmittance values of the prepared polymers have been
increased with increasing the wavelength. The absorbance values of the prepared polymers have been decreased
with increasing the wavelength
