Cerebral palsy with mental retardation: A case report

Abstract:
|
Cerebral palsy is the most common life threatening childhood disorder. In current scenario, more adults are affected
than in children with this disorder. It is a neurological disorder which leads to brain injury, malformation whereas it
affects the body movement and posture. It is found that in India cerebral palsy affects 3.8% of the population with an
incidence of 3/1000 live births. We report a case of 50 years old man with a known case of Quadriplegia spastic
cerebral palsy with mental retardation and co-morbidities.
