Structural And Biological Study oF New Schiff Base Derived From 2- Amino-6methoxybenzothaizole With Isatin And Its Mixed Complexes With Curcumin For Some Metallic Ions

Author: WIDYAN .F.HASSAN, SAJID M. LATEEF
Abstract: This study included the preparation and diagnosis of new (Schiff base L1)derived and from reactor isatn and 2- amino-6-methoxybenzothaizole, also study included of preparation and diagnosis complexes used(curcumin HL)and Schiff base (L1) ,with metal ions give formula: [M(L)(L1)Cl] where : M = [Mn(II),Co(II) , Ni(II) , Cu(II)] ,Na[VO (L) (L1) SO4][Cr(L)(L1)Cl]Cl,[Fe(L)(L1)H2O](NO3)2With (M: HL:L1)[1:1:1] used(ethanol solvent)..The Schiff base(L1) and all complexes were characterized by physical and spectroscopic measurements (IR spectrum ,UV-Vis spectrum ,atomic absorption ,LC-mas ,1H,13C-NMR)along with elemental microanalysis ,magnetic susceptibility ,Chloride content ,molar conductivity and meting point.According to obtained results an octahedral geometrical formula was suggested for all prepared complexes.,An evolution of biological activity of all ligands and prepared complexes was estimated for two types of bacteria: (Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli) and only one type for each of the mildew candida albicans and fungus (Trichophytonrubrum). The results shown that the biological activity of the complexes against the bacteria ,mildew and fungus is mor the ligands
