Occupational stress determinants in indian banking industry

Abstract: This paper aims to determine occupational stress determinants in Indian Banking Industry. All the statements were taken from the previous literature review and then factor analysis applied to it. Survey response were collected from 518 respondents in National Capital Region of India.6 Factors were extracted using principle component matrix. These factors may further be used as dependent variable when combining with other variables of organisation. Based on concern raised by some international organisation and Indian government plan towards mental healthcare bill for employees working in different organisation, this paper is an attempt to empirically determine the attributes of occupational stress in Banking Industry.
