Abstract:

This will increase the proportion and an absolute number of people at risk of osteoporotic fractures
enormously in India. Osteoporosis associated fractures are can result in disability substantial pain, suffering,
and possibly even death of the exaggerated persons. Asymptomatic nature of osteoporosis in its early stages
makes it one of the most under diagnosed clinical conditions and a significant proportion of patients directly
present with fragility fractures. Asymptomatic nature of osteoporosis in its early stages makes it one of the

fractures. Even though the factors leading to osteoporosis are well understood, there is no clarity on exact
average at onset, the speed of progression and factors affecting it. Hence there are no consensus guidelines on
appropriate age at which the screening has to be performed. With general increasing standards of life and
advancements in medical sciences, there is a substantial increase in life expectancy globally, more so in
developing countries like India. This research work proposes analysis to know the prevalence of regional to
know the prevalence of regional osteoporosis in patients.
