Abstract: The article describes the results of the study, in order to study the ethics of the methodology and methods of studying family and demographic problems, the importance of which is important when studying social work with a family in a situation of intrafamily deviations. Analyzes expert opinions on the degree of participation in solving family problems of various institutions and agencies of the social sphere, on methods of working with families who have received and have not received due distribution in working with families and a number of other topical issues. In conclusion, recommendations are given to improve the work of social bodies in order to optimize social assistance to the family as a whole and to families in a situation of intra-family deviation.
