THE BANG OF WEB-BASED HEALTHCARE SERVICES ON DOCTOR-PATIENT INTERACTION

Abstract: The web-based services helped out the patients to become more proactive in managing their health more confidentially. Studies of this ease indicated that large number of population is now utilizing internet for the health information to educate them and also to make suitable decisions related to medications, treatments and lifestyle choices as well. The involvement of third party players like practo, meetmydcotor etc has changed the thinking of individuals. Now, the patients are more health-oriented and also the young age people take care of their loved ones with a single click. This paper aims to study the change in doctor-patient interaction through web-based healthcare services in India. The survey of 216 respondents was collected with the help of Google docs. The appliance of factor analysis for web-based services shows that these variables are well represented by six dimensions i.e. web knowledge bank, web health, web convenience, web information, web conditional acceptance and web ancillary health services
