Author: AKHRORBEK DJURAEV, DAVLYATLYAR BABADJANOV, KHAYRULLA RAKHMATULLAEV
Abstract: Introduction:The various types of osteotomies developed to date, distraction epiphysiolysis and metaphysiolysis, corticotomy, intramedullary reinforcement, bone grafting and other methods of surgical treatment have provided the positive results, however the relapses and complications after using these methods are still observed. Based on this, it is necessary to take into account the etiological factors, the severity of the disease and the age of patients at the choosing of surgical treatment. Aim of the study: The main aim isthe improvement of the results of children’ treatment with axial deformities of the lower extremities by determining indications for various types of operations, depending on their etiology, severity and age of the patient. Material and Methods: There were 87 children observed over the period from 2012 to 2019 in the department of pediatric orthopedics of the SRSRMCTO HC of theRUz and the regional multidisciplinary hospital in the Khorezm region. Of all number of patients, it was noticed the aftereffect of rickets in 49 patients, aftereffect of osteomyelitis in 24 patients, systemic diseases of the skeleton in 13 patients, and aftereffect of injuries in 1 patient. There were 42 (48.3%) girls and 45 (51.7%) boysof them. Results and discussion:Surgical treatment had been performed in 87 children. The use of apparatus-surgical treatment in a closed way and a temporary hemiepiphysiosiodesis to eliminate rickets deformation of the lower extremities in children is a minimally invasive method compared with various osteotomies. The results of the surgical treatment using temporary hemiepiphysiosiodesis showed the effectiveness of this method at a light degrees of deformation. There have been received the excellent and good results in all patients. Summary:The use of apparatus-surgical treatment by a closed way and temporary hemiepiphysiodesis to eliminate rickets deformation of the lower extremities in children is a minimally invasive method compared with various osteotomies
